ETC² Announces
NET Incubator’s Second Annual Business Plan Competition

The National Environmental Technology (NET) Incubator National Business Plan Competition welcomes applications from any U.S. corporation or LLC with revenue generating activities associated with scalable technologies and activities that contribute to increased energy and resource efficiency, higher productivity, pollution control, waste management, or the provision and delivery of water, recovered materials, and clean energy. Companies should be positioned for early stage or first stage financing.

The competition will be held at the NET Incubator in Spring 2003. ETC², Battelle, EPA and other organizations are sponsoring the competition. Individuals submitting their company’s business plan will have the chance to win cash prizes along with the opportunity to present their business plan to equity investors at a national financing and capital symposium.

The NET Incubator, located at the International Center for Water Resources Management at Ohio’s Central State University, provides a head start to companies focused on energy and environmental technologies. The NET Incubator has unique and affordable services to help a wide variety of companies accelerate market acceptance of their product.

Approximately 87 percent of companies that originate in incubators graduate to become successful, self-sufficient businesses.

The Environmental Technology Commercialization Center (ETC²) is a U.S. EPA technology transfer center managed by Battelle bringing important environmental advances to the marketplace.
