Battelle’s Energy and Environment division
developed and currently implements a client
satisfaction survey as a means of ascertaining the
level of service provided to clients. Over the past
several years, we have distributed nearly 400 surveys
in an effort to gauge our clients’ level of satisfaction
with our project performance. We feel that the client
feedback we receive is invaluable, as it drives
management actions toward continuous
improvement.
For example, as a direct result of the feedback
we’ve received, Battelle is currently reviewing
contracting and billing procedures and seeking new,
improved means of process and implementation. Although we are encouraged by the scores we’ve
received (which indicate excellent performance),
our target is to increase our overall survey scores to
the “outstanding” level.
As testament to how highly we value this
feedback, each year’s business initiatives are directly
linked to the responses we receive in these client
satisfaction surveys. Additionally, Battelle considers
this feedback an invaluable leadership development
tool. These project evaluations often provide the
information needed to recognize an employee’s
performance. We listen to your input.
