COLUMBUS, OH—Battelle Vice President of Energy Infrastructure Mani Vadari has been elected to the board of directors of the GridWise Alliance for a two-year term.
“It is an honor to serve on the board of an alliance that helps to mold the future of America’s smart grid,” Vadari said. “I am excited to be a part of this game-changing industry and look forward to seeing the transformation of what Thomas Edison invented into a safe, smart, and innovative grid system.”
Battelle is a founding member of the alliance, which began in 2003. Vadari is one of 15 board members, four of whom were elected this year. “Battelle and its diverse group of operating units will bring a unique perspective to the smart grid in terms of its breadth and depth,” said Vadari.
