Worldwide military installation contract focuses on environmental services February 22, 2008
Columbus, OH—Battelle announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE). This multiple-award contract has an estimated ceiling of $3 billion over its 5-year ordering period and allows Battelle to provide architect-engineering services for environmental, military construction, military family housing, and facility sustainment, restoration, and modernization projects at Air Force and other military installations throughout the U.S. and at operating locations worldwide.
"We're excited about the opportunity to continue our long history of supporting the Air Force," said Bob May, Vice President for Battelle's Air Force Sector. "As AFCEE faces many challenges resulting from their increased scope of responsibilities, including centralized management of the military construction, military family housing and the environmental restoration accounts, we look forward to partnering with them to help make their transformation goals a reality."
