Tim Sample brings special expertise from Air Force, Congressional professional staff experience
Columbus, Ohio—Battelle today announced the hiring of Tim Sample as its Vice President for Special Programs. Sample came to Battelle after serving as President of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance and will leverage his experiences to provide Battelle clients with the technology they need to help make America safer.
“Tim’s energy and creative outlook will make him a great addition to our leadership team,” said Steve Kelly, President of Battelle’s National Security Global Business. Sample will be based in Arlington, VA.
Sample is an experienced intelligence practitioner who is well-versed in national and homeland security. He was the Deputy U.S Negotiator at the signing of the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START) in 1991 and served in the U.S. Air Force and the Central Intelligence Agency. He also was Vice President for Strategic Intelligence Strategies and Programs for General Dynamics’ Advanced Information Systems. His last government position was as Staff Director of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI).
Sample attended the The Ohio State University and University of Nebraska at Omaha.
