The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) has deployed a Battelle Seaology™ device on the equator at 140W. Our System is mounted on a moored buoy and provides high resolution time-series measurements of atmospheric boundary layer and surface ocean CO₂ partial pressure (pCO₂). This data enables evaluation of the temporal variability in air-sea CO₂ fluxes and assists in examining the mechanisms controlling CO₂.
