The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) has deployed a Battelle Seaology™ device on the equator at 140W. Our System is mounted on a moored buoy and provides high resolution time-series measurements of atmospheric boundary layer and surface ocean CO2 partial pressure (pCO2). This data enables evaluation of the temporal variability in air-sea CO2 fluxes and assists in examining the mechanisms controlling CO2.
