- America’s Safest Companies, 2006 – PNNL is one of only 10 companies to receive this annual recognition from Occupational Hazards Magazine.

-  The White House Closing the Circle Award – for government sites that display outstanding environmental commitment.

-  National Safety Council - Significant Improvement in Safety Performance.

-  DOE Pollution Prevention Star & Best-in-Class Awards- These two awards recognize exemplary performance at DOE sites

-  EPA National WasteWise –this is a voluntary EPA program which recognizes organizations for eliminating costly municipal solid waste and select industrial wastes.
