National Reach Map

At Battelle, we believe in leveraging resources and amplifying impact through strategic partnerships and networks. So as Battelle began to explore ways to deepen engagement with the education community from pre-kindergarten and beyond, relationships formed that evolved into new networks. It was from this experience that a broader and more deliberate education partnering concept for science and technology emerged.

Recently, states around the nation have approached Battelle seeking insight and guidance as they prepare to adopt STEM teaching and learning. As a primary partner in the president’s “Educate to Innovate” campaign, Battelle openly invites dialogue about individual state STEM goals and how our work might complement those efforts.

Battelle and the state of Tennessee have entered into a formal agreement embodied in an MOU (memorandum of understanding). The purpose of this MOU is to establish a Tennessee STEM Innovation Network (TSIN) modeled in part on the Ohio STEM Learning Network (OSLN).
