Volunteerism

Giving back is a core value at Battelle, and our employees are passionate about volunteering for the causes that matter most. Through our vibrant Team Battelle program, founded in 1992, employees have volunteered over one million hours to vital programs and projects in their communities. They have donated time, expertise and energy to arts, education and human service organizations, working side-by-side with their colleagues to make the greatest impact.

Recent Successes

Pelotonia: Battelle’s team – Battelleton – rode a combination of 43,103 miles and raised thousands of dollars for cancer research.

Tour de Cure: The Battelle SpokesPeople were the top corporate fundraising team in 2011 for the American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure.

Backpack Drive: We collected 300 book bags with supplies to help local children at Virginia Stevenson Elementary School in the Mad River School District.

Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center: Team Battelle conducted their annual Battelle Easter Seals Spring Cleanup.
