Capabilities: Technical and analytical support of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense (CBRN-D) systems including R&D, developmental testing and document control of CBRN-D detection, collective protection (ColPro) and decontamination systems; development and analyses of Navy training plans; inventory management of aircrew CBRN-D equipment; and emergency management analyses and integration.
Points of Pride: Although the number of staff members is small, our quick-thinking and well-coordinated staff are ready to serve customers. Staff focus on the application of Navy-unique requirements for research, development, test and evaluation of joint CBRN-D detectors and ColPro systems. CBRN-D experts from the Edgewood Chemical Biological Center frequently consult with Battelle Dahlgren’s lead engineer for detection expertise.
Good Deeds: Staff are engaged in family-oriented and community activities.
