BATTELLE AND ZEVEX LAUNCH STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIP

COLUMBUS- Battelle Healthcare Products and ZEVEX International, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZVXI), have announced the launch of a strategic relationship. Under terms of the relationship, ZEVEX' Applied Technology business division and Battelle Healthcare Products will team to offer seamless technology/product development and manufacturing services to the medical device and diagnostics industry.

Battelle Healthcare Products and ZEVEX' Applied Technology business division will coordinate the marketing of their respective capabilities. By harmonizing their respective quality systems and business processes prospective customers can access the combined core competencies in an integrated offering. Medical device companies will now have the opportunity to access Battelle's healthcare product innovation, technology, design and development expertise, while retaining the world-class medical device and instrument manufacturing capabilities of ZEVEX, in a single transaction.
