HAMPTON,Va.-- Recently, Battelle established two Battelle scholarships at $10,000 each for minority students at Hampton University's School of Engineering and Technology. Battelle was pleased to learn that Christopher Barr was selected as one of the two scholarship recipients. Christopher is a second-year electrical engineering student from Indiana. The scholarship award was presented by Frank M. Dirren, Vice President and General Manager for Battelle's Navy Market Sector. Currently, Hampton University and Battelle are searching for a qualifying student for the second award.
