BATTELLE WINS AIR FORCE CONTRACT FOR TINKER AIR FORCE BASE TRANSFORMATION PLAN

Columbus, OH - Battelle has been awarded the first task on a $500 million contract to transform processes and industrial facilities at the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center at Tinker Air Force Base. Battelle's role includes designing, developing, constructing, installing, and delivering a lean transformation program.

The award is the first phase of a two-step competitive process intended to rapidly and dramatically improve operating and financial efficiencies within Tinker Air Force Base.

"Battelle has led successful transformation partnerships with agencies across the federal government, and we're leveraging that experience, with a world-class industry team, to make a real difference in this depot's ability to support the warfighter."

The Battelle team is in place in Oklahoma City and has initiated activities as the prime contractor for this new program.
