SALTZBERG TO LEAD ENVIRONMENTAL BUSINESS FOR BATTELLE

Columbus, Ohio--Dr. Edward Saltzberg has joined Battelle as Vice President and Environment Market Sector Leader in the Energy, Transportation and Environment Division.

Saltzberg will be responsible for the growth and strategic direction of Battelle's environmental practice. He will be based in the Battelle Crystal City office to maintain proximity to key clients and to work strategic environmental initiatives at the national level.

Saltzberg has been an environmental and management consultant for 28 years. Half of that time was spent at Science Applications International Corporation, where he was one of the principal architects of the environmental services group. He later was a partner in two environmental management firms and most recently led strategic initiatives for SRA International's civil sector.
