Columbus, Ohio--A veteran product development engineer with 20 U.S. patents to his name was named Battelle's Inventor of the Year at the organization's recent Reward and Recognition banquet.
Jim Dvorsky, a two-time R&D 100 winner and a member of the inaugural 2003 class of Battelle Distinguished Inventors, was chosen for his expertise in using electrical processes and engineering skills for equipment development to solve real-world problems, particularly in the areas of medical devices and electric field spraying. Dvorsky's work in electromagnetic and electrostatic designs, analog circuitry, systems integration and electronic packaging is among the best in the field.
