BATTELLE LAUNCHES ADVANCED MATERIALS PROGRAM AT NATIONAL PLASTICS EXPO 2006 IN CHICAGO

Battelle Materials Applications Technology Solutions (B-MATS) to provide tactical and strategic help to advanced materials companies.

COLUMBUS, OH--Battelle will launch a program designed to provide immediate assistance to advanced materials companies at the National Plastics Expo 2006: The International Plastics Showcase, June 19-23 in Chicago.

The Battelle Materials Applications Technology Solutions (B-MATS) program is a subscription-based service designed to answer technology questions, provide access to Battelle's extensive laboratory facilities, and serve as an information source linked to the leading-edge advanced materials group at Battelle.

B-MATS leverages more than 100 advanced materials experts with more than 400 years of collective industrial and government experience to answer questions, run tests, provide design review, perform failure studies, optimize products or processes, and support manufacturing efforts. B-MATS members benefit by staying informed of advanced materials developments and receiving strategic support to drive their decisions and improve their products and services.

"B-MATS is designed to supplement a company's own resources while enhancing its own portfolio," said Kelly Jenkins, B-MATS Program Manager. "B-MATS members will benefit from customized reports from dozens of trade shows and conferences each year, as well as access to Battelle's Technical Information Center and its resources valued at over $1 million in annual subscription fees."
