BATTELLE COMPUTER EXPERTS WORKING ON YEAR 2000 DILEMMA

As the year 2000 approaches, industry and government are scrambling to prep their computer systems for the new millennium.

Because the computers’ internal clocks are not prepared to roll over for the year 2000, many fear mass computer crashes after midnight of Dec. 31, 1999.

Battelle experts have been helping various industries and government agencies safeguard their computer systems against the so-called “Millenium Bug.”
