"Vitex is commercializing engineered substrates and encapsulation systems to enable the manufacture of a new generation of flexible electronic displays based on Liquid Crystal and Organic LED technologies," said Steven Cohen, VP, Chemical Technology Commercialization at Battelle. "We believe these products will significantly improve the ruggedness, portability, and cost of many of today's electronic display products and create a wide range of new product opportunities. Possible applications include roll-up or flexible displays that can be affixed to walls, windshields, and clothing, or used in new portable devices and products."
