Dr. Jefferies is Director of the Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy Services at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. He is a Professor of Pediatric Cardiology and Adult Cardiovascular Diseases. His current areas of research interest include novel genetic discovery for heritable cardiomyopathies, treatment strategies for dystrophinopathies, and translational strategies in the treatment of acute decompensated heart failure. As Battelle Healthcare Colloquium Medical Advisor, Dr. Jefferies will support the membership by providing clinical expertise in heart failure program improvement, hospital quality issues, and other healthcare improvement initiatives as needed.
As Battelle Healthcare Colloquium’s Member Services Coach, Debbie is committed to helping Colloquium members improve methodology to advance operational efficiencies and patient outcomes through heart failure accreditation. Debbie's background as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Program Manager and Advanced Practice Nurse, with a focus on critical care and emergency nursing, enables her to provide valuable coaching and collaborate with members. She has a Master of Science in Nursing from the Yale School of Nursing, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Vermont.
Sara is an operations management professional with experience in non-profit and retail sectors. She has expertise in project management, process improvement initiatives, training and development, organizational strategy, and budget management. Sara has a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from Otterbein University.
