Battelle has been supporting the U.S. Navy for years in a variety of roles, including Maritime Engineering, High Performance Engineering and CBRNE Defense. We’re pleased to be attending Sea-Air-Space 2017 and to continue this relationship.

This year at Booth #2423, we have a number of exciting demos to show you. How can we help you solve your most difficult challenges?

Battelle DroneDefender™
DroneDefender is Battelle’s answer to the real threat posed to both commercial and government entities by drones. This counter unmanned aerial system (cUAS) defends against commercial drones without compromising safety or risking collateral damage. It disrupts the adversary’s control of the drone, effectively neutralizing the drone before any remote action can occur, protecting what matters most.

Battelle HeatCoat™
HeatCoat is the deicing and anti-icing solution of the future, with a small size and weight and high power envelope that are unmatched in the industry. HeatCoat™ uses a high-conductivity, carbon nanotube heating coating that conforms exactly to the existing skin of the aircraft. Intelligent sensors and controls help reduce ice build-up without affecting flight performance, making sure that ice isn’t affecting your aircraft aerodynamics and lift, and cancelling missions.

Battelle Proteus™
Proteus is the latest in Battelle’s underwater vehicle technology. With a large cargo capacity and a high-energy battery system that provides a range of up to 700 nautical miles, Proteus™ allows you to deliver payloads hundreds of miles away both autonomously and in a manned mode. A multi-talented vehicle, Proteus™ can also be used to inspect undersea infrastructure such as oil rigs and pipelines.
