SETAC: Understanding Environmental Risk from PFAS Exposure

  • Dates:
    Aug 12
    Aug 15, 2019
  • Location: Durham, NC, U.S.

This SETAC North America Focused Topic Meeting will synthesize recent advances in chemistry, environmental fate and exposure, human and ecological toxicity, and risk characterization of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). The objective of the meeting is to review new and emerging information on PFAS and to formulate a road map for a risk assessment approach for PFAS.

Battelle is proud to be participating in this event. We have decades of experience when it comes to environmental concerns. Right now, PFAS is one of our major focus areas. We're at the forefront of PFAS research, conducting urgently needed research to better understand the fate and transport of PFAS and minimizing environmental and human health concerns.

Battelle Principal Research Scientist Kavitha Dasu will be presenting during the meeting.
