ARLINGTON, VA., 20 November, 2012—As the White House moves to address cyber security risks with a new Presidential policy directive and imminent Executive Order, national security experts agree there is a pressing need for a cyber doctrine to guide United States policy in an era of proliferating cyber challenges.
To address these urgent challenges, the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies will host a special conference, A National Cyber Doctrine: The Time Is Now, onTuesday,Dec. 4, from 2-4 pm in the National Press Club's First Amendment Lounge, 529 14th St, NW, 13th Floor; Washington, DC 20045.
The event will mark the release of a new book from the Potomac Institute Press, #CyberDoc: No Borders - No Boundaries. The book is co-edited by Potomac Institute CEO and Chairman Michael Swetnam and by Timothy Sample, Vice President and Sector Manager for Battelle’s Special Programs Organization, who also serves as a member of the Institute’s Board of Regents.
