COLUMBUS, Ohio–Battelle today announced it has awarded nearly half a million dollars in grants supporting interdisciplinary education projects that rethink Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM ) learning outside the classroom. The five winning projects, the first under the new Battelle STEM Grant Program, integrate STEM with a diverse mix of disciplines, including the arts, digital technology, dance and theater.

ExactID Version 2.0, released October 1st, now supports mitochondrial DNA analysis, microHap analysis, and other advanced genomic methods that allow researchers to pull more information out of challenging DNA samples.
