Kim Hyoshin, Ph.D.
Senior research scientist, Dr. Kim Hyoshin, brings over 20 years of experience in public health research with a focus on tobacco control. She is an expert in program evaluation, measure development, experimental design, statistical analysis, and quantitative modeling. She has extensive experience in examining smoking behaviors using population level national datasets across different age groups and sub-populations. Serving as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator on a number of NIH grants, designed to inform public health policy, she has examined abuse liability, smoking behavior, chemical content, and biomarkers in a variety of tobacco products. Her current research focuses on tobacco use measurement and flavors of electronic cigarettes.
