Bartosz Koszowski, Ph.D., Pharm.D.
Research Scientist Bartosz Koszowski provides scientific guidance and clinical oversight on tobacco projects related to product use as well as topographical measures and biomarkers of tobacco. His ongoing research interests include smoking patterns and toxicant exposure for cigarettes, roll-your-own, cigars, e-cigarettes and waterpipes. He has served as Principal Investigator for an FDA clinical trial assessing blu electronic cigarettes and for a CDC study on secondhand exposure to nicotine from electronic nicotine delivery systems. He has published 25 papers in peer-reviewed journals and currently serves as an Associate Editor for the Tobacco Regulatory Science journal. He also serves as a preceptor for interns for two Pharmacy programs in the Baltimore area.
