Ghezlane (Riz) Id-Daoud, Ph.D.
Riz graduated in 2007 with a BSc in Biology from the University of Pierre et Marie Curie Paris VI, then received an MSc in Oceanography and Marine Environments in 2009. In 2015, Riz gained her PhD in Marine Biotechnology from the University of Portsmouth where she investigated the antifouling properties of extracts from marine microalgae. She was involved in the FP7 EU project LEAF working on the “Optimisation of Biocides” as a research associate. She then worked as a Study Director managing a wide range of laboratory GLP aquatic studies.
