Victoria H. Coleman-Cowger, Ph.D.
Victoria H. Coleman-Cowger, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist who brings more than 14 years of research experience in the areas of maternal and child health, substance use, mental health, and health disparities. She has served as Principal Investigator on NIDA studies focused on smoking cessation and relapse prevention intervention development for low-income pregnant African-American women, and on prescription drug and marijuana use among pregnant women. She has also served as Co-Investigator or Task Lead on grants and contracts with the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), FDA, and CDC. Victoria has published more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals and holds a faculty appointment at the University
