Medical Accommodation from the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement

Battelle requires that all employees are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment and continued employment. 

Candidates who are selected for interview that have a documented disability covered under the federal Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (as amended), the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (as amended), or similar state and local laws that prevents the individual from being vaccinated against COVID-19 will be interviewed virtually. 

If you believe you will require a medical exemption from the vaccination requirement if employed by Battelle, you must request an accommodation from the vaccine requirement AFTER a conditional offer of employment is extended to you by contacting Battelle via email, phone, or mail as outlined below.

Battelle will provide you with the required forms and documents that are necessary for you to complete in order to process your request for a reasonable accommodation. Battelle will then engage in an interactive process with you to determine what, if any, accommodation can be provided without imposing an undue hardship on Battelle or creating a direct threat to the health and safety of you or someone else.


Religious Accommodation from the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement
