Battelle to Study Fire Suppression Foam for DoD Environmental Security Program

Battelle is set to study commercial off-the-shelf fluorine-free fire suppression foams to validate if they have met military specifications.

Funded by the Department of Defense's Environmental Security Technology Certification Program, the project seeks to confirm the capacity of firefighting technologies in achieving stringent burnback and extinguishment requirements, the company said Monday.
