Battelle donates $3.1 million to Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation

Battelle has given the Columbus Metropolitan Library's nonprofit arm its largest single gift. Battelle's $3.1 million gift to the Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation will support the library's existing programs, help develop new programs, update technology and go toward various outreach efforts, the foundation said. “With this gift, Battelle seeks to spark curiosity in young minds across Central Ohio,” Wes Hall, Battelle's philanthropy and education vice president, said in a release.
