The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
See how Shawnee High School students grow lettuce, other plants in classroom
Students at Shawnee High School are gaining hands-on science experience by growing lettuce and other plants in their classroom using a hydroponic system, which relies on nutrient-rich water instead of soil. Funded by Battelle and the Ohio STEM Learning Network and guided by their environmental science teacher, they assemble the system, monitor water quality and lighting, and observe plant growth while solving real-world problems.
