The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
White Paper
The Human Side of Transportation Design
Are we building transportation systems that meet the needs of the humans that use them?
In 2015, an estimated 2.44 million people were injured in automobile accidents and more than 35,000 people were killed, including vehicle drivers and passengers, pedestrians and cyclists. While some crashes can be primarily blamed on mechanical failures or environmental conditions, 90% or more of traffic accidents can be attributed at least in part to human error.
