2021 Bioremediation Symposium
June 27-July 1, 2021 | Portland, Oregon
The Sixth International Symposium on Bioremediation and Sustainable Environmental Technologies, originally scheduled for May 17-20, 2021, in Miami, Florida, has been combined with the Twelfth International Conference on Remediation of Chlorinated and Recalcitrant Compounds. This change was necessary as a result of the postponement of the 2020 Chlorinated Conference in response to COVID-19.
The joint event will be held June 27-July 1, 2021, in Portland, Oregon.
Please see the Chlorinated Conference website for updates concerning Sponsorship, Exhibits, and technical program details.
Battelle’s Bioremediation Symposium is a forum for sharing research results, practical experiences, and opportunities associated with advances in bioremediation and green and sustainable practices in remediation; the development, implementation, use, and results of advanced tools for assessment and monitoring; and the challenges of applying bioremediation at various types of complex sites. Treatment technologies for emerging contaminants, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are also examined.
The 2019 Symposium was attended by more than 800 environmental professionals from 28 countries. Nearly 440 platforms and posters were presented in 48 breakout sessions, and four panel discussions were conducted.
