Battelle’s Bioremediation Symposium is a forum for sharing research results, practical experiences, and opportunities associated with advances in bioremediation and green and sustainable practices in remediation; the development, implementation, use, and results of advanced tools for assessment and monitoring; and the challenges of applying bioremediation at various types of complex sites. Treatment technologies for emerging contaminants, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are also examined.
The 2019 Symposium was attended by more than 800 environmental professionals from 28 countries. Nearly 440 platforms and posters were presented in 48 breakout sessions, and four panel discussions were conducted.
Details regarding the 2023 Symposium will be found on this website when announced.
