The New Jersey PFAS Partnership Innovation Consortium (NJ PFAS-PIC) aims to create a collaborative ecosystem of stakeholders across academia, industry, government, and communities to develop and scale innovative solutions for PFAS detection, monitoring, remediation, and safer alternatives. Members join through a tiered fee structure with access to resources and decision-making roles.

Its core goal is to drive technology from research to real-world use, supporting manufacturing, community adoption, data collection, policy development, and regulatory compliance through coordinated efforts led by a board and partner network. We are excited to announce that Battelle expert, Dr. Paige Jacob, is part of the board and is helping to advance NJ PFAS-PIC initiatives forward.

PFAS Chemistry Program Manager
Paige delivers client-facing leadership for research execution and consultation services, advancing Battelle’s mission to deliver innovative solutions for PFAS challenges across critical industries, including semiconductors. She brings a combination of technical expertise, strategic insight, and industry relationships that helps clients understand PFAS sources, interpret complex analytical data, and implement economically viable treatment solutions.

Division Manager, Environmental Solutions
With 35 years of environmental experience across consulting, operations and management, Joe manages a team of 70 scientists, chemists and engineers focused on delivering top-quality analytical data, investigating the fate and transport of PFAS and developing innovative new analytical methods to address emerging chemicals of concern.
Bryon Dahlgren, P.E., BCEE
Senior Program Manager
Mr. Dahlgren is an engineer with 30 years of professional experience and degrees in chemical and environmental engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has successfully managed numerous projects focused on addressing emerging contaminants at complex remediation sites. Bryon's deep experience includes researching the diverse aspects of new compounds (including tracking regulatory changes), understanding fate and transport issues, testing and implementing new remedial solutions, and managing legal and community relations communications.
