    With a B.S. in geological engineering, 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and 3+ years specializing in CCUS at Battelle, Rob brings deep expertise in wireline logging, subsurface evaluation, and surface measurement systems; complemented by a comprehensive understanding of well drilling and completion. In his current role, Rob oversees the daily activities of the operations team, coordinating with project managers, geoscientists, and business development teams to optimize processes, address customer and regulatory requirements, resolve technical challenges and continuously improve Battelle’s safety culture.

    Subsurface Technical Manager
    Adam leads a diverse team of geoscientists, reservoir engineers and specialists and is responsible for all subsurface evaluations for carbon sequestration. He has more than 20 years in the oil & gas industry, which helps him implement best practices to ensure the highest technical standards are met.

  • James Pipes

    Subsurface Scientist/Engineer III
    With a B.S. in mechanical engineering and 17 years of industry experience (including 13 years dedicated to CO2 utilization), James brings a wealth of knowledge to the Battelle Carbon Services team. James has spent the past 2 years working for Battelle on cutting-edge CCS projects and applying his expertise in drilling, completions, and production for CO2 source fields and CO2 EOR fields. Currently, James is focused on drilling CCS data wells and well engineering for Class VI permitting.

    Evan has nearly 20 years of experience in oil and gas exploration, business development and carbon storage.
