PFAS Predict® Groundwater Fate and Transport Modeling
Better Information.
Better Outcomes.
Our unique PFAS Predict tool simulates PFAS fate and transport in groundwater with specific inputs for per- and polyfluoroalkyl chemicals. It provides options to scale dispersion based on modeling PFAS groundwater plumes to predict its movement in groundwater and aquifers.
How It Works
This proprietary program for addressing PFAS contamination is only offered by Battelle. In addition to its unique innovation, the PFAS Predict program is compatible with industry standard MODFLOW groundwater flow models and conceptual site models. The input in the modeling process was customized to account for critical parameters related to PFAS groundwater plumes:
Critical Parameters
- Chemical PFAS Properties
- Pertinent aquifer properties
- Source zone parameters
Our Model Features
- Advection
- Dispersion
- Degradation/reactions
- Sorption (first and second order, linear, Langmuir, Freundlich)
- Source release options (slug, continuous, disperse, multiple)
