Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) Advanced Technology Support Program V (ATSP5) is a comprehensive engineering development and transition program that enables rapid acquisition, development, and deployment of advanced technology solutions for the Department of War (DoW) and other federal agencies. The program addresses a wide range of needs, including maintaining and enhancing system capabilities, countering new and emerging threats, and solving challenges related to reliability, maintainability, and obsolescence – particularly in microelectronics. ATSP5 supports both hardware and software efforts, covering activities such as studies, design, prototyping, integration, and limited production, and leverages both state-of-the-art and legacy technologies to deliver innovative, secure, and mission-critical solutions to end users.
