2021 Sediments Conference

The Eleventh International Conference on Remediation and Management of Contaminated Sediments will be held January 25-28, 2021, in Nashville, Tennessee, at the Omni Nashville Hotel (250 5th Ave. S., Nashville,
TN 37203). A small room block will also be available at The Joseph Nashville Hotel (401 Korean Veterans Boulevard, Nashville, TN 37203).
Abstracts are due June 30, 2020.
Battelle’s Sediments Conference series is a forum for sharing research results, practical experiences, and opportunities associated with investigating, remediating, and restoring the environmental and economic vitality of waterways. Managing these
aquatic systems requires complex actions that affect a diverse group of stakeholders and touch a wide range of environmental, economic, political and social issues.
The 2019 Conference was attended by more than 1,200 environmental professionals from 21 countries. Nearly 500 platforms and posters were presented in 43 breakout sessions, and four panel discussions were conducted.
The technical scope for the 2021 Sediments Conference will provide updates and additions to topics covered by the 2019 Conference and reflect emerging issues and initiatives in sediments remediation and management.
